Barbara Gayle Austin writes crime fiction. Originally from Texas, Austin spent years in corporate finance, working for international companies in Europe, before turning to writing full time. She now lives in Amsterdam with her two children and her dog. Austin’s debut thriller, What You Made Me Do, was longlisted for the esteemed Crime Writers’ Association Debut Dagger under the title Lowlands.
