About me
After six years as a bassist in the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Charles Philipp Martin left music to become a writer and broadcaster. His 2011 novel Neon Panic introduced Hong Kong police inspector Herman Lok. Rented Grave appeared in August 2024. Both suspense novels earned praise for their revelations about the fascinating world of Hong Kong crime and policing. Charles now lives in Seattle. His latest Inspector Lok novel is East Hell.
