Gail Vallance Barrington has published several short stories and poems in literary journals. She is the author of a six-story series about an irrepressible starlet who solves mysteries despite herself. Her current project is a a crime novel about a firefighter with a brain injury who must solve the murder of her father. A NovelNovember 2025 Champion, she wrote 50,000 words of her novel in 29 days and is now working on the second draft.
