About me
When Lisa Harkrader was in third grade, she wanted to be a writer, an artist, and a spy. Today, she’s a writer and illustrator who has published 45 books for children and has received the William Allen White Children’s Book Award and four Kansas Notable Book awards. Her books have been on children’s choice award lists in eight states and named New York Public Library and Bank Street College Best Books of the Year. And she still wants to be a spy.
