Mellissa Fung is an award-winning journalist, author, and filmmaker who specialises in post-conflict and human rights reporting. Her latest book, and first foray into fiction, The Last Mandarin, written with Louise Penny, debuted on the NYT, USA Today, and Globe and Mail best-seller lists. She was appointed as an officer to the Order of Canada in 2024 for her advocacy for women and girls.
